Mindful Eating 101

Thursday, March 11th at 4pm PST / 7pm EST

In this workshop, we’ll explore mindful eating—what is it?

How do we do it? Does it actually lead to weight loss? What does “listen to your body” mean, and how do we actually practice it?

We’ll go through 2 mindful eating exercises, exploring the concepts of hunger, fullness, mindful eating through the senses, and we’ll take a look at pleasant and unpleasant experiences in general.

**Please note that this workshop requires food ingredients acquired in advance to participate most fully.

Stress Reactivity Neurobiology

Thursday, March 25th at 4pm PST / 7pm EST

How does stress affect the body and mind?

What are the impacts on the nervous system? Is it possible to achieve peak physical health if stress is happening in the body?

Understanding the science of stress can help us learn to manage it more effectively.

We’ll also use some art crafting materials to create a helpful tool to lower stress and anxiety in the moment! Don’t worry if you’re “not an artist”—this activity is nothing more than following directions, and we’ll do it together!

**Please note that this workshop includes an art activity that will require materials, and will be 75 minutes.
